LOCATED in Northern Bali, Lovina has calm seawater and blackish chromatic sand. This beautiful name was given by a local famous novelist AA Panji Tisna meaning to Love Indonesia (Love + Ina). PERCHED at the foot of Mount Agung, Besakih Temple is the biggest Hindu temple in Bali. The temple complex established around thousand years ago has public temple and clan temples. Made from durable lava stone, this temple has one main temple and 18 accompanying temples. Some ceremonies are held here like Ida Bhatara Turun Kabeh (annually), Panca Wali Krama (every ten years) and Eka Dasa Rudra (centennially).
